So I have set a new goal for myself. I want to make some improvements with my card-making skills and my abilities to alter things. My current stuff is okay, but it takes so long and I struggle with the details. I fully admit that I don't enjoy these aspects of the craft as much as I like creating layouts and mini albums. But I would like to make a company team one day (BooHoo over Dream Street). To make that happen, I need to be able to make great cards. So I am on the hunt for good websites, great card designers, tutorials--all to give me ideas and inspiration. Tell me about your favorites. Share a tip with me about cards and altering objects.I actually love the cute gift card holder that I created above. It was so easy and who wouldn't enjoy getting their gift card in something pretty! Adds a special touch!

ReplyDeleteI like to purchase the card magazines from Michaels that I see every once in awhile. Depending it something grabs me that is!! Also Inspireme.com (webster pages gallery) has some beautiful cards posted there to! Happy weekend!
Ok, girl, I gotta tell you, you already are a good card maker! Seriously!! I can totally relate in that I feel like I am waaay better and more comfortable with layouts, but your cards are really awesome!! And sorry about dreamstreet - their loss!
