Thursday Trending: Getting on the Scale

It has been awhile since I posted a Thursday Trending post.  But this week I want to share a trend I am seeing in my recent page.  It involves scale.  Lately, I find myself into larger scale elements on a scrapbooking page.  

This past CHA many of my assignments involved using 4X6 photos.  I am a 3X2 kinda girl.  I decided to embrace it and created my pages I loved.  Ever since, I find I am drawn to using bigger items.

 

I love this photo of my kiddos!  I decided to match the size by using larger items grouped along the top of the page.  I clustered journaling cards and the new tags to create the banner.  I added my own details using embellishments from the Save the Date collection.

I am so digging the wood elements that have been added to Teresa's new collections!  I actually love how small they are, adding a balance to larger scaled items!
