A few weeks ago, I was asked by a good friend if I would be interested in donating some scrapbooking projects to a silent auction benefit. Her cousin was seriously injured in a tragic accident and is now paralyzed. After brainstorming, we decided that I would do a Christmas-themed basket filled with a bunch of stuff. I altered a notebook, made a set of cards, altered a round box and filled it with ornaments, and created a layout. It was a lot of work, but was totally worth it. It felt great to use my scrapping skills for a good cause. I must say, that it also got me in the mood for the holidays! Have you ever put your skills and talents to good use!? Let me know how! The basket ended up going for $75.00--not too shabby! I am off from work today and I am quite happy about that. It has been soo busy, and I am exhausted. I think it will slow down a bit for a little while. I am just about done with my scrapping projects for my responsibilities so now I can just play. Have a great day everyone!
