Today
Today it is supposed to be 62 degrees! Gosh, I long for warmer, brighter days. It just makes you feel better. I walked yesterday and want to start a more regular exercise program. I am going to look for invitations for Ella's birthday party. Of course, she wants a Cinderella theme. I usually make a cool themed-out cake! If anyone has any ideas, let me know!
I have been teasing my husband lately because he set up our T.V. so that it displays caller id information. He loves the couch after 8:00 p.m. (I might hog the computer a bit) and now he won't even have to get up to check to see who is calling. I told him that I am buying him a Snuggi, an idea given to me by one of the girls at The Nook! I might get the two for one deal and we can wear them together. Can you picture it?? Anyone have one--I need a review!
Here is my most recent layout, which came together pretty quickly. As a part of Focus on Me Fridays over at The Nook, I wanted to document the status of things right now! You can read the journaling in the photo!!!
Don't forget about the ScrapStreet Star contest--get yourself involved today!
Have a great one!

Ok, so loving that layout, Stacy!!!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! The colors are so nice and soft. I like how you put the cardstock on top of the patterned paper.
ReplyDeleteGreat LO! Especially love the journaling!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the Cinderella theme party. Years ago I did the Cinderella Barbie cake. You know, the one where you bake a cake in a pyrex mixing bowl, turn it upside down, cut a hole in the center and insert the doll. The cake serves as the lower part of her dress. That idea has been around forever. It was a big hit though. I had to place it on top of a sheet cake in order to have enough for our large family...lol! I'm sure whatever yo come up with will be fabulous!
LOVE the layout!
ReplyDeletecool layout! love it. good luck w/cinderella. maybe a castle?
ReplyDeletelove that page stacy! (but totally hate you for being a size 4!)
ReplyDeleteand you need to check out my post on snuggies - there's a hilarious parody of that ad there :)
I love that layout and the poppy flower (is that what it is?). Great journaling!!
ReplyDeleteMy parents, grandparents, and aunt all have Snuggi's. They look ridiculous, but are soft and pretty warm!
I say just put a house coat or robe on backwards and save the 19.99 + s&h. ;)
Wonderful layout! I'm 38 too - but definitely not a size 4! ;) I've no ideas on the cake, but I can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteI just love all you came up with using the March Nook kit!

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun page Stacey!
ReplyDeleteI haven't made a Cinderella cake, but I did make a castle cake a while back and it was quite the hit. I think we used frosted, upside down ice cream cones on the top. Have fun with it whatever you decide!
Terri
I love the way you used that number paper as an accent and what totally cute journaling! SOOOO love dark chocolate too.
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with SR Sonoma! I keep wanting to use mine and then I get sidetracked. I long for summer too!
ReplyDeleteI am so with you on the warm weather thing We've had some here too and I have been loving it!
ReplyDeleteGreat layout, as usual and I still need to hopefully get over there to scrapstreet star contest...I'm just always so intimidated, KWIM? The story of my life though...I need to just get over it and get out there more often.

What a great LO! Love this!
ReplyDeleteMy husband totally has to figure out the TV displaying the caller ID...brilliant idea!
It's just me again. I read your post on my blog and had to reply. American Too cool! I think I will have to stick to the fake accents...I suck at singing!
ReplyDeleteYou still have Roxy & Kingsford?!!!! That seriously made me tear up, Stacey. How is Roxy? Does she still suck her tail like a baby? Play fetch with milk carton rings? Drag socks, underwear & other clothes downstairs to cover her food dish? You just totally created a major bright spot in what has been a very trying week for me. :o)
ReplyDeleteTanya
Tanya-I still have both cats! They are healthy and happy and will probably live until they are 20! Roxy still does all those things and is still attached to me! She lays on my scrappy stuff all the time!
ReplyDeleteStacey,
ReplyDeleteYou are so awesome. Always have been...always will be. I love you! Remember how sad I was when I had to give Roxy to you? Well, we always knew she was quite a character, but I am SO happy to know that you still have her & have taken such amazing care of her. >^..^<
~T
LOL...I just remembered. Were you home the time that we found Roxy trying to drag a pair of SWEATPANTS down the stairs to her food dish? She managed to get them almost to the bottom of the stairs before we saw what she was a doing! HAHAHA
