I find that I no longer participate in this ritual in terms of the dating scene (since I am happily married). However, this describes my current relationship with a scrapbooking layout. It is in between. It could take me days to decide what to do next.
I know it needs something. So I experiment. I set it up one way and leave it in a visible place. I look away, acting shy and then look back. I will even leave the room and then come in as if I don't know its there. I am waiting for the "just rightness" to jump out at me. I will rearrange and then start the whole flirtation over again.
I need a life huh?

Here is a layout that I did the same thing with. I added and subtracted and finally arrived at this!

LYB has these cool transparencies. I cut this one up to fit the layout of my page. I also hand-cut those leaves from a piece of paper! In the end, I am satisfied.
Here's to hoping that happens with the one waiting for me to come back into the room. Wish me luck!

I do that too! and what a neat way to describe the process! When I'm especially stumped, I use magnets to post it on the fridge and go to bed. When I see it first thing the next morning, I "see" it again for the first time and see what it's missing. HTH! Great LO btw! love those leaves, they're awesome!

I never did that - but honestly - if those are the results you get for flirting with an LO to be - I NEED TO START doing it! That's one AMAZING layout, my dear!

Yes, I do that, too! Well, excpet for leaving the room and coming in surprised....THAT is too funny. I take a picture of my different ideas so that I can look back and see which one I like best. For some reason, seeing a picture makes me really see the layout. Anyhoo, LOVE this one! The leaves are amazing.
I also do that! Used to take me an hour to do a layout, now it might take a week! But Stac, Dear, I think you couldn't go wrong no matter what stage you put up! <3
Whatever your process is... keep doing it. That LO is stunning!
I work in a similar fashion though. I'll never be labeled a "fast" scrapper, that's for sure! :-)

I do that too! I've never thought of it as flirting, but that's it. I'm ashamed to say, I have pages I've never finished because I just couldn't commit. I guess it just wasn't meant to be :)

I definitely do that too!!! I love this layout though! Definitely the going back to effort. The leaves on the flourish are perfect!
love the leaves, i don't usually create that way, if it doesn't work i take it apart and come back to it MUCH later :D
