It is hard when anything gives. It throws the balance off. The messy house makes you feel unsettled. The lack of exercise leads to unfocused energy.
I think I will just hold tight to the fact that this too shall pass.
Life is good.
One thing that keeps me sane is this hobby. I love new challenges and how far they stretch you creatively. Webster's Pages hosts a guest designer each month and one of the traditions is to lift that designer. April brings the amazingly talented Tara Orr. I love her work and how beautiful it is. I don't think I could do HER justice even with a direct lift.
So I found inspiration in her work and then infused my style. Tara often uses patterns of the papers in an unique way. And she is not afraid of butterflies! I picked up those two elements and created this layout:
I handcut that scalloped border from a sheet of the Trendsetter paper! I love it as is, but thought about how cool it might look cut out on a monochromatic background! I am in love with the whimsie blooms...that little rose makes me swoon! To create this, I also cut two small flowers from the bouquet. Most elements are from the Trendsetter collection!
Okay, off to declutter my office. I am in need of balance.
Having a similar month! Yay for a fresh start! Love the rose buds!
