Blog Hopping: WP Pot of Gold

Welcome to the Webster’s Pages ‘Pot of Gold’ Blog Hop! It’s St. Patrick’s Day so our Design Team got together and decided to have a little fun! If you arrived here from the talented Iris's blog, then you’re on the right track, if not, click here to head over to the beginning of the hop!
Everyone knows that on St. Patrick’s Day you’ve got to wear a little shamrock GREEN or you’re going to get pinched…SO, here are the RULES for this hop…every one of us should have added some green to our projects, BUT, no teals, aquas, yellows or any “almost green” shades count! If you catch someone in the hop without our true, St. Patrick’s Day green on, help catch those sneaky girls and give them a PINCH in the comments of their blog! {…and it just might be me, but I’m not telling! Hehe!}
…AND, guess what!!? There’s a hidden prize at the end of this hop! Find it and you can enter to WIN our pot of gold filled with an assortment of Webster’s Pages TREASURES!!

Here is my page!

I wanted to tell the story of my daughter and her wish for a high ponytail the night of the Father/Daughter dance.  I love to tell real-life, meaningful stories.  If I don't write the little details down, I might forget.  She loved this night so I want the memory to live on.

I used the Sprinkled with Love collection by Allison Kreft and Webster's Pages to make this page. I love this color scheme and all the goodies!  See the metal birds on a wire?  Super cute!  I also adore the wood veneer frames!

Each design team member will be sharing a fantastic project using one of the new collections!  The eye candy alone is worth the blog hop!

Here is the entire line up of the blog hop!  If you have been following the hop then the sweet and creative Jaz is next!  If you stumbled here first, start from the beginning so you don't miss a thing!

Stacey Michaud  that is me!

Have fun...I am hoping you find the pot of gold!

Blog Hopping: SFTIO

Happy blog hopping!  The DT members at Scrapbooking From the Inside Out wanted to share layout using the new kit, Intention.  Not only will you get to see some inspiring pages, but there is a prize involved!  You should have come here from Jen's blog.  If you didn't, start with Melissa above to visit each blog on the list!

Today I am sharing my page about my One Little Word for the year.  I posted a while back that I have chosen the word whisper.

I will talk about my process and the symbolism of this page on one of my upcoming Behind the Art posts over at SFTIO blog.

I love the concept of whisper.  My husband has caught on to the word I am focusing on and has strategically brought it up several times since the new year.  Like when I am yelling at my kids to brush their teeth or when I get annoyed about a miscommunication.  I should clarify that I will whisper more, but I am feisty so yelling will probably still occur.

I have talked quieter though.  I have slowed down with my kids and tried to talk more than direct.  I think it is making a difference.  We can problem solve much more effectively if we are calm and collected.

What is your word of the year!?  I love hearing about it.  I really believe in the concept of a word and how it can take on so much power!

To be eligible for the prize, leave a comment.  Be sure to visit all the blogs and leave comments by 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time on the 9th.  The more blogs you comment on, the greater chance you have of winning a prize!

Happy hopping!  You are visiting the talented Heather's blog next!

Blog Hopping: It's Christmas

Welcome to the Webster's Pages Christmas blog hop!  We are celebrating Christmas today!  The DT girls are sending cards to each other!  You should have come from the beautiful Jaz's blog! I have a card to send to my fellow teammate, Larissa.  She is super talented and always a source of inspiration!

Here is a card for Larissa!

I used the Its Christmas collection from Allison Kreft to make this card!  It was build using a small file folder.  I added some embellishments including the chipboard buttons.

The card has a cool feature!  The file folder opens once the paper clip is removed.

Inside, there is a special message and maybe even a gift card!

Happy holidays Larissa!

In the spirit of Christmas, we have some gifts of our own to give away!  You can win a Webster's pages Christmas Prize Pack just by leaving a comment on any or all of the posts in the hop!  Winners will be chosen randomly and will be announced on Friday, November 22nd!

Head over to Larissa's blog to see what card she is sharing today!

Happy hopping!

Blog Hopping: CardMaker Magazine & Webster's Pages

Hello!  Welcome to the CardMaker & Webster's Pages blog hop!  Today, we are showcasing the beautiful Family Traditions collection.  Each designer on the hop will share a project and a chance for you to win the collection!  You should have come from my talented friend, Jamie Harder's blog.

I am sharing a card that I made using the Family Traditions papers, stickers, ribbon and twine.

I love this collection because there are so many great elements to choose from.  I handcut several elements like the hexagons and the banner.  Cutting the banner allowed me to place foam squares underneath to add some dimension!

I used my circle punch to punch out the Sweet tag.  I layered the sticker on top of the ribbon to add more typography.

You can win this amazing collection!  Simply leave a comment on each blog post to be eligible to win.

Head over to Michelle Woerner's blog for some more inspiration!  Thanks for stopping by!

Lily Bee Blog Hopping

Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to the Lily Bee Design Team blog hop...you may have seen a couple of our new design team’s projects on the blog already but we thought it’d be fun to showcase the talents of the team by doing a blog hop!

6a014e86b0613b970d017ee41c06bc970d-800wi

Our blog hop continues with this week's theme of Spring / Easter projects! I have created a page that shares one of my favorite photos from last Easter.  My daughter put on fuzzy bunny ears and I was sold!

I used the new Sweet Shoppe collection for this layout...it was my first time playing with the line.  I found it to be super fun!  I focused on combining the softer pastels in the collection since it integrates an Easter theme.  The "You are Sweet" chipboard piece caught my eye so I gave it center stage!

I decided to frame the chipboard and photo with the label stickers.  I ended up turning the two vertical ones into exclamation points!  All of the new collections are beautiful and offer up a ton of possibilities!

I am so excited to be a part of the Lily Bee team for another term!  The design team is so talented...I just know that I will grow and learn through their inspiration!  Each member has created an inspirational project using our new collections, so make sure you stop by each of their blogs to see their work and leave them some love.  When you are done, head back over here for a chance to win some Lily Bee Design product of your own!

Lily Bee's Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Four years ago, Kristen launched Lily Bee Design, went to her first CHA and the rest is HISTORY!  Lily Bee made a splash and continues to do so today!

We are celebrating our 4th birthday all week long with daily blog hops and we’re giving YOU the chance to win the gifts! That’s right, each day will be a different hop with more chances to win!

Today, I am sharing a clean and simple layout designed with a boy's birthday in mind!  I kept the details grounded in primary colors and added interest in masculine ways!

Here is my celebration layout!

I went with a grid like feel, but kept things random!  To create this layout, I mixed Persnickety with Destination with Pinwheel with Christmas Cheer...that is why I love Lily Bee!

I used the Celebrate stamp on the brown Kraft stamp and then layered some banners and stickers!

My title went along the bottom, complimented by the bright red and white polka dot paper!

Supplies:  Persnickety (Papers, Journal Index Cards, Cardstock Stickers), Christmas Cheer (Paper-Numeral 8), Destination (Papers, Chipboard Stickers, Label Stickers, Chit Chat Stickers), Pinwheel (Paper, Label Stickers), American Crafts Alphabet

So how can you win!?  So many ways! Make sure you leave a comment on each designer's blog

Blog Hopping: Lily Bee Love

Happy Friday everyone and welcome to the Lily Bee Design blog hop!  You should have come from the super talented Summer Fullerton's blog! We are here today to share projects using the new collections:  Persnickety, Christmas Cheer and Autumn Spice.  It is the new design team's chance to say hi and get to know you better!

For my project, I mixed and matched all three collections!

I went with the cream base from the Persnickety collection and built from there! I chose the patchwork quilt rows from the Autumn Spice collection because I felt like they conveyed my theme of family.

I added little details like the stamped circles and the banners cut down into different sizes.

I continued the circles below and even added some bling to enhance them.  I love the tiny alphabets...they make long titles easy to create!

Supplies:  Persnickety (Papers:  Finicky, Index Journaling Card), Christmas Cheer (Paper:  Figgy Pudding, Cardstock Stickers, ABC Cardstock Sticker), Autumn Spice: (Paper: Brown Sugar, Clear Stamps)

In the spirit of the week's theme, we will be giving away a variety pack of 12x12" papers from all three lines for one lucky winner on the Lily Bee blog post.  To be eligible for this awesome prize leave a comment on everyone's blog posts including the Lily Bee blog.
Your next stop is the blog my lovely and creative friend, Patricia...

Hopping Halloween: Webster's Pages

Welcome to the Webster's Pages Halloween blog hop!  We are sharing projects that are sure to get you excited about the upcoming holiday!  You should have come from the talented Emeline's blog!  If not, go back to the Webster's blog and start from the beginning!

I am sharing a Halloween inspired layout that celebrates a tradition many of us take part in...carving pumpkins.  Except that in our house, we decorate with markers.  I caught photos of my daughter coloring in her jack-o-lantern while sitting on our front porch.  It was easy to create this design using the Once Upon a Halloween collection.

I started with three photos...be sure to take many pictures this Halloween and capture the small details.  I hand cut this chevron owl and placed her on a perch.  I cut the fabric circle from the trim and layered in underneath.  The Pumpkin Carving title is from a sheet of paper in the collection...talk about easy!

I added a bunch of circles to show off all the patterns and placed charms or rosettes in the centers.

I added some texture by layering the orange trim under the strip of green paper.

This Halloween, be sure to capture all the traditions and details, even those that don't take place on the actual day.

In order to celebrate, we will be handing out our own Halloween treats!  To be eligible to win one of our special treat bags, be sure to leave a comment on every blog, including this one.  Prizes will be chosen next Friday!

Thanks for hopping by...be sure to move forward to Jaz's amazing blog!
